well honda has always made a really good motor and transmission but there is alot more you have to do with any car that has that many miles. Of course always get the all the fluids checked including oil, transmission, coolant, and brake fluid. Also another thing with an older car is take it to a shop and pay for there safety inspection and they will check over the whole car and tell you everything that should and needs to be done to the car based on the maintenance manual. The last major thing which could save money on tires is an alignment and front end check. It might be some big money up front but itll save you money in the long run when it comes to buying tires over and over again.
