Your motor is the Honda J30A1, the same model in the 6th generation (1998 - 2002) V6 Honda Accord. It's been tuned somewhat mildly, so most mods you add will actually bring noticable improvements.Some suggestions:- Cold air induction, particularly AEM's V2 model. - Performance axleback exhaust (e.g., Greddy)- There are headers available (3 models) for the Gen 3 Accord, but not sure if any fit your car. You might do searchs on both models & ask the manufacturers for advice about fitment.- ECM chip/aftermarket processor (e.g., AEM, Unichip, etc.)- Iridium plugs (e.g., Denso)- Underdrive Pulleys (e.g., UR)- grounding wire kits (e.g., Sun Automotive)The last three mods won't likely bring huge gains, but they're still worth considering....and if your enterprising, you can even drop in a set of cams from the Acura TL/CL Gen 2 Type S (2002-2003); engine model J32A2. They fit the J30A1, and will bring noticable power gains. The'yre cheap (cams ~ $250), but the downside is that your existing valve springs may not be quite as powerful as required for the higher lift secondary VTEC lobes. However, those who've reported about this mod say it's a good one (do Google search for 'Acura TL Type S cams in V6 Accord', or something like that...The stock J30A1 motor is rated at 200 flywheel hp. It's possible to see gains bringing it up to the J30A3 version found in the 7th Gen Honda Accords (2003-2007).One thing...any mods that bring substantial gains will tax your automatic transmission, and the model you have has been the item of a large Honda class-action lawsuit that extended original owner warranties out to 109K miles, or 7 yrs after purchase. Some folks (i.e., COMPTECH USA) have suggested installing an aftermarket transmission cooler, and definitely be sure to perform transmission service per the factory manual.
