What's frustrating about this is it's probably a 5 minute reprogram of the ECU to correct it. Of course, there's development, testing, validation, the cost of rolling out a tech service bulletin to the dealers, and then the logistics of getting the cars in to reprogram them. But still, if you can engineer an otherwise fine automobile, probably top of it's class, you should be able to compensate for a slight voltage drop when a fan cycles on and fix the darn thing.
