Honda confirms that the new hybrid will be smaller and less expensive than the current Honda Civic Hybrid and will be an entirely new vehicle, not merely a hybridized version of an existing model (such as a Fit Hybrid). Production is expected to be around 200,000 per year and the styling will be akin to the Honda Remix concept vehicle introduced at the 2007 LA Auto Show.
