i have this 87 prelude si but its just a winter beater, when switch to 5th gear and start acceleratin my sterring wheel starts to shake and it feels like im runing in 4th gear! but the rmps are around 3000 it doesnt feel like its 5th at all and when i try to go over 100 something is preventing me from going 120 it just wont go any faster and it shakes! ahhh i dont know if its beacause its freaken OLD! or the frame cant take it and i dont know if there is a chip in it but if u have any idea please let me know! thanksall tires and suspention is new but whats wrong with the engine not taking high speed and preventing me from going faster!??it has been alighned and it smooth when i drive but it all happends at high speed.
