you dont have to go to a dealer they would charge you an arm and a leg.get a blank spare key on ebay or some auto place,then take it to the locksmith or truevalue and get it copied.depending on the model you might have to get it chipped for and extra fee.newer cars have chips on the key that enables the car to start.
