That's sometimes true, but not always. I bought a 2003 Accord, brand new when it first came out and it's been nothing but the best. I actually think the reason for that is because I specifically asked for my Accord the come from Japan, and it did (I had to wait though). If you're able to find an Accord that came from Japan, you're golden. The fact of the matter is, if the person who owned the car before you took care of it, you should be fine. Good Luck!!
