Actually, it isn't an urban legend.A good number of people have been able to successfully modify their Acura TL navigation systems to play DVDs, route to a car PC, or connect with a slingbox to receive satellite TV (since a true satellite receiver is large and expensive)A good place to start: acurazine!(look at source)good luck!I will say though, the Acura TL's navigation system and electronics are very complex and wires are routed from front to back. With the '07, it's gotten even more complex, with the rear view camera and XM navtraffic receiver!
