as it is a front wheel drive car i would have the cv (constant velocity) joints checked out they are like the universal joints on a drive shaft of a rear wheel drive car. it deals with your transmission transferring power to the wheels if those joints are damaged you could have a serious accident. also check your front seatbelts as there is a recall on that particular year model for seatbelts.
