here is a list i made a while ago, it covers the more reasonable swapsThese are some of the common and popular swaps, if swapping seems like too much work grab a vtec head and do a LS/VTEC. Not as strong or reliable but much more affordable and convenient.B16A motors will work, not as popular due to less displacement.B17A1-integra gsr motor 2nd generationB18C5-Integra Type R motorB18C1-Integra GS-R motorB20B/Z block mated with a B16A headH series and F seriesBasically any dohc prelude motor is popularH22A1/4 and the non vtec version the H23A1The F22 and F23 series were less popular due to a SOHC configuration, (some of these are still strong motors and if found cheap can be considered) we all like our motors with more cams and more flow. And these engines were found in various models of the accord and acura 2.2 models. These are not to be confused with the F20C and the F22C, those last two are the beasts of NA 4 cylinder motors, Good luck stuffing a Honda S2000 motor in you car. Then of course there is the most expensive but best option, find a k seriesK20A2- RSX type S motor, probably the best motor except for the Z1, without paying a bunch for a type r motor, it will be pricey, but worth it if you have the money.K20A3-RSX base and 02-05 civic si motor, without the "good vtec" No point to this engine, not worth itK20Z1-RSX type s motor a little more power years 05+K20Z3 the 06+ civic si motor, also very goodK23a1- RDX, turbocharged but good luck swapping that, very different mounts. Then any K24 bottom end mated with a k20 vtec head. Very expensive but most power potentialSo the best for price and performance and durability would be the B18C1, with the K20A2 behind because of the costLots of options you just have to chose what is best suited for your budget, horsepower, torque, and displacement needs. Then your manual vs auto question. auto has the ability to shift slower, you lose more power due to mechanical resistance, not as effective at controlling your car in the turns, ie using the throttle to use torque to adjust your car in turns. Some modifications can't be used with an auto, so there is a little less options when tuning. More expensive to maintain and repair, they can't handle as much power and torque. And most importantly autos are not as fun.If you have the money convert to manual, most of the applications listed above would be difficult to mate an auto to it. So if you want to swap you probably should look at getting a full swap with tranny. That mod list looks pretty good, i assume you will also do intake. You might not need the fuel injectors with your mod list thus far. I would say your stock injectors with the engine you decide on can handle the duty cycle +/- 30hp. But yeah most of those mods won't make a difference if you don't get a good piggyback ecu like a hondata system you won't be making the most of your mods.{edit}-that's a great engine but if you are going turbo you do not necessarily have to get that engine. Depends on what you want to do, and how much money you have. If you want to stay streetable, i wouldn't make much any more then 350 especially if you are going to the track. If money was no option i would get a tsx engine and a type s engine. I would make the k24 and k20 hybrid, 9:1 compression pistons and turbo it with a garrett gt30r turbo and shoot for close to 400whp. Of course i would have to do a little bottem and top end work but it would be reliable. Chances are though with a swap you will have to custom pipe the turbo and intercooler, and select appropriate hardware to tune if you go the much more expensive k series route. I case you were wondering what i would do if i had less money it would be the gsr engine as well. But if you are not worried about money go for the k series, one of the best na 4cyl around
