I work for Acura and Honda, the Acura is the better car and your dad is very very wrong! The RSX has some of the highest reliablility ratings in the history of the auto industry! 9K for a 44k mile RSX sounds kinda cheap though I WOULD MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK THE CAR! We sell those for about 12K. As far as reliability goes you CANNOT find a better car. Afterall Acura is actually what the rest of the world gets as a Honda. Acura only exists in the US, furthermore the RSX is just a 2 door version of a TSX which is still made today, the engine is different but the 2002 is the car that helped build the great reputation of Honda worldwide! It is a GREAT BUY! Sit on it and you miss!As far as how long it will last, that depends upon you! Take care of it and it will go forever ( We have many many customers still driving Legends from the 80's one has over 400K miles on it)
