i was looking to buy a used acura rsx 02, with only 44,000 miles on it and for 12,290. im wondering, how many miles do you think this car will last for? are acuras usually pretty reliable? i really like this car, i would be paying for 9000 of it from working, however my dad says he says i should get a new civic lx from a dealer for 15999.the only reason he thinks this is because he feels the acura wont last me a good time through college (im in 11th grade right now). the thing is he would be commuting to work in it untill august 09. says he expects there to be about 70,000 miles on it by then.so my question: is it probable that an 02 acura with 70k miles could get me through 4 yrs college then like 5 years having a job? i wouldnt be commuting at all for college, if any1 knows who little or much cars are driven in college? then 4 years after for the job.so will it last that time? plz tell me if i need to include more info, and i will contact u with a message thanks!
