yes, too good to be true. but you can have a mechanic check it out for approx $100. I'm guessing it was some sort of salvage or otherwise totaled vehicle. I dont know how deep carfax goes, but i'm sure the crooks have figured a way to beat the system. look for signs of flood/water damage, open the doors and look to see if the paint in the jambs matches the paint on the outside. Check to see if they spray-painted the wheel wells with black paint.
