acura tl 2000


i am having major service done at downtown acura in toronto canada. it is a
scheduled 94k. part of the service is taking apart the brakes and putting
them back together .
It seems like a scam and costs about $140. they will replace pads if needed
for additional costs.
do i need to do this part or have brakes done elsewhere?
the quote for 94k service is about $525 plus tax before any parts.
