If this is going to be your primary vehicle, I'd choose the Honda. I don't have anything in particular against the 350Z, except maybe for the fact that it grossly overweight for a 'sports' car (I know, it's more of a tourer than a track machine). Both cars benefit from modern manufacturing techniques and engineering, but even so, the Honda is probably going to last longer. Practicality weighs heavily on my choice as well, as the Accord will seat four adults in comfort, and carry a goodly amount of cargo (even if it's the coupe). The Z is a two-seater, and has minimal trunk space. The kicker is year-round drivability. I know that with snow tires, or even chains, the Z-car could be wrestled around in fairly adverse conditions, but I would much prefer the Accord in the white stuff (this may not apply to you, unless you live where it snows in winter, as I do).
