I own a 2007 Odyssey EX-L. The Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) comes standard on the EX, EX-L, and touring. The 2007 cuts the cylinders down to 3, when driving at a constant speed. The 2008 VCM is going to be standard on EX, EX-L, and Touring. The major difference is that it will cut the engine cylinders to 3 or 4, producing better gas mileage than the '07. Both 2007 & 2008 get good gas mileage, but the less aggressive you drive the more MPG.
