What do you want to do with it? What kind of racing do you do?Strut tower bars help to tighten up the chassis and keep everything together and moving in one direction. It also shares the load between your strut towers, as your camber can temporarily change during hard cornering, and after a while, your car's body(the strut towers) will deform. and we don't want that do we? If you can keep your wheels on the ground you can get better traction since there is more tire to contact with it..Now coilovers. Let's go over the pro's.They lower your car. yup, this will make your car look cooler, but that look is functional, lowering your center of gravity helps stability and that equals control. Some coilovers are adjustable in many ways. you can pick your height (you want lower), camber (you'll want negative), negative camber gets more of your tire's contact patch on the ground. it also keeps your sidewalls off the ground, and they weren't meant to be there so let's not put them there. caster (you want more positive), this will help your wheels to naturally line up with the direction of travel(think of a shopping cart) and it also helps you get some beneficial negative camber.and then after that you will want to change your toe (in and out) out helps to reduce understeer going into a turn.all of these adjustments will help your handling, and if you have control of your car, you can drive to get better traction. All of this also helps you to get better tire wear, if you go through tires quickly you're definitely not getting the most traction. Some other suggestions-Bigger brake rotorsWider wheelsbetter tiresreplacing soft/worn out bushingsOf course with a lower car you have less wheel travel, and a harsher ride. but you have to make some sacrifices in the name of performance right?
