I'll leave the technical stuff to the folks with more experience, I have no numbers to throw at you.But as far as low end and high end when talking about engine performance people are generally referring to the RPM range. For example, a car with high low end torque would have better launching power since the RPMs are low. Think of old American muscle cars with the big V8 engines.If someone is refering to high end torque, they are usually refering to an engine that runs better at higher RPMs and the torque curve is best at high RPMs.Of course a car may have both high end and low end torque if it's geared right, but that will generally reduce it's top speed, but the best acceleration.
