I'm not sure if there's a way to do that without sending the re-set codes to the computer in your car. Most mechanics can do this through the diagnostic port.It's a pain in the butt (and in a worst case scenario - it stays on so long that it burns out the bulb ... then your mechanic has to dismantle your dashboard to get behind it & replace that bulb ($80+ job))
