Like above stated, NSS are commonly found on the pedal arm and are equipped on all cars in some form or other. On that year there's a good possibility it is mounted on the transmission itself, with a signal coming from a contact on the pedal arm. It is a very low-wear part and are not prone to failure that soon, so i would check with a qualified mechanic before you buy a new one, most aren't cheap after 1995.
