I believe that there's a TSB from Honda on those trannies. They have an extended warranty up to 109,000 miles. Practcally every V6 Honda has that H5 transmission and are prone to the problem. They should replace it for free. I know that the Acura MDX has that transmission and it's not covered under the TSB. Being that the Pilot and MDX are the same vehicle with different styling, hopefully the Pilot is covered. Try to get Honda to replace it under the warranty anyway. Good luck.
