sounds like you syncros are going bad (that is if there is any grinding going on).about 1-2,000 fix. a much cheaper idea is to have the tranny flushed and a new filter put in. Make sure to use ONLY HONDA MTF fluid otherwise there will be a vast increase of tranny deteration
