But what about the torque... if you look up torque you'll know its a force that moves the car. Without making more torque you're engine pretty much is making more noise than power. So go ahead make 210 HP, but only 102 FT/LBS torque. Torque is also derived from the liters of displacement. So if you're like 300lbs & have an automatic you're screwed. automatics have to be modified whenever you add any power to the engine. So as you can see it gets expensive to play around with a SMALL engine.
