Get Omni Power full coilover setup. They are $650 on Ebay, and they ride better than the stock suspension. They also eliminate a common problem on the 96-00 civic with the stops on the factory struts wearing down and going down on the axle. I have a set on my 99 civic and absolutly love them. Unlike some other coilovers they adjust from the base instead of the actual spring, so the strut itself has the same amount of travel whether the car is at stock height or slammed to the ground. The skunk2 coilover setup is good too, but its also pricey.
