Its likely a bad tank of fuel. I checked mileage on my last car all the
time, and when I used Amoco/BP fuel, I would get 2-3 mpg more highway miles
than with the cheap no name fuel at the quick shops. And the car seemed to
run a little better also. So that pretty much made up for the added cost.

Suggest running your fuel as low as you feel comfortable going, and try to
find a good quality fuel. Then run that for a while. Don't use 92 octane if
your car calls for 87, which it probably does. Don't switch between premium
and regular, cause it takes the computer a while to adjust.

If that doesn't do it, its under warrenty. Hopefully you can recreate the
problem if and when you have to bring it in.
