Thread: What is the 1000xr/min on a honda civic ? All I know is that it increases as you accelerate.?

It is refering to engine revolutions per minute. 1000 mulitplied by the number the needle is pointing to equals engine RPM. 2000rpm in park sounds a little high but I wouldnt worry about it.
