Horse power is a serious business. You cannot get much with that packet change.You can spend $200 to get cold intake system. it would get you 5 hp. It relocates the air filter to bumper so that you will need to remove the bumper to replace the air filter. Once a year, you would need to put in 2 hours to remove the bumper and clean the air filter. But it will give you small HP. Short intake system does not get you much and can actually hurt the performance if temperature is high.Exhaust system can get you another 5, but you are looking at $500 - $600.chip is useless alone. you should spend that money to get Turbo charger or super charger. It will get you 50 hp. if you need to go beyond that, the you would need to build the engine so that it can support the additional pressure. $5000-$10000 should get you good rebuild that can stand more pressure. if you don't want to burn out your transmission, you want to do something about that too. otherwise you would be looking at transmission rebuilt at first time your peel out with that engine.if you want to spend packet change, the best thing you can do is the weight reduction. Remove everything that is not needed by your car. Rip out seats, take out A/C and all related system (compressor, belt, ...) Run with only 1/2 tank of gas, take out door panels, and take out that spare tire too. You can gain more horse power by making your car lighter.
