The trim levels for Honda's are usually LX (not LV), SE, EX. And are you talking about a CR-V? The LX is usually the more basic model, but if they offer a DX it is one step above the DX, the most basic model. EX for most models is the top of the line model...sometimes, but not always, they will have leather seats, more gadgets, other comfort and convenience features, and sometimes (not always) a more powerful engine. SE stands for special edition. It used to be the top of the line model for Accords, but nowadays it is a value package trim level roughtly in between the LX and EX models. IIRC, though, on the CR-V, it is the top of the line model with leather upholstery. I suggest you check the Honda cars website for comparison of trim levels (www.hondacars.com) by model. What is the best car to buy? Well, the EX has more features obviously, but you have to pay more. It's a function of "do you want all these features and do you want to pay extra for them".
