Rings may not fully seat.. So you end up with an engine that uses oil and/or smokes. You put more wear on the bearings... Really you put more wear on the whole engine. Driving the car hard tends to run the oil and water temps higher.. In the 1st 1,000 miles this aint good at all.. Things like leaking head gaskets, cracks forming in the block or head, etc could happen..
