The SI badge on the civic is sporty version of the base model.If you look at all civics in past generations and current, SI models only comes in manual transmission.If you want that extra sporty performance that comes with SI, you can learn to drive a stick shift, choose a lesser sporty model, swap an automatic to the SI, or choose a different car from competitive brand.But stick shift is fun.
