As Mac stated, there are no V4's in the US at all. All four cylinder cars are in line 4's except Subaru, which has boxer (horizontally opposed) fours (or sixes). the mileage difference on the highway between Accord 4's and 6's is about 4 mpg, the Civic is quite a bit smaller but better on gas and cheaper. As for price - go to autos.msn.com to price the cars with whatever equipment you're interested in.
