a CAI (cold air intake) would be the best. this displaces the intake filter outside of the engine bay (inside the front bumper) to get cooler air into the engine. the short ram works the same way, however the air filter is still inside the engine bay (so it basically removes the big ugly black airfilter box). as far as performance gains, the CAI is the best. I've never heard of a "warm air intake"...basically that would just be stock. AEM is one of the best manufacturers, injien also makes a good product, however its harder to install. You should be able to find DIY intake install on a honda forum. it should take you about an hour. not worth having a professional do if you have just basic mechanical skills.
