Go with the cold-air. The intake tract will be a little longer because of the extra tubing needer to get to the cool air so you will lose a little on the throtle response but you will see more torque across the rev range with a cold-air. Reason is that the cooler the air, the more dense it is, ergo the more fuel can be burnt=more power
