hello. 'I' think you should rest. Have you driven it since the incident? If so, how does it run now? I say this, in relation to an event I had in m '85 Jetta. I went over a spot in 'the valley', got into water, and ALL the lights went on with the dash. The engine quit. But I was able to start it again after a few moments. The electrical system is VERY much a part of the car. If you are older, you could know when it wasn't the 'same'. : }
