while there is no recall on this item, there is an extended warranty from Honda for 10 years/150,000 on the OPDS sensor which is the part that usually fails and causes the light to come on. It takes about 3 minutes to determine if the light is on for the OPDS or if it is some other cause. If it is caused by something else then the dealer will want to charge you for further diagnosis. At that point you can say 'no' if you don't want to go any further.my guess is it will be covered under the extended warrantyalso: it is not a fuse and the airbags will not go off when the light SRS light is on; whenever the SRS light is on the airbag system is disabled.
