Tell them you want OEM only parts and choose a good shop to do the work. Usually an insurance company will give you an estimate, which is pretty low, and agree to write a check, and be done with it.Happened to my dad when he had an accident. They said the damage was like $2000, wrote him a check, he refused it, said "pay the shop, not me". He took it to the best shop in the area, they did an OEM job, cost $4000, insurance company was forced to pick up the tab.
