well a spoiler would go on ur trunk and would not be hit by bumps or ditches....but i am assuming that u might be asking about a body kit that goes around the bottom of ur car he front bumper, the side skirts, and read bumper and yes it will get hit here and there by bumps....but if u are careful and notice the bumps and holes and slow down before u get to them u wont do to much damage if any at all....civics are tuner cars they are made to put kits on them and everything else u want to do to them....they are not just for economic use....most people who tell u to get a real car....are people who like American muscle and not very fond of import tuners....but in the end i think u need to go to a body shop and talk to them on which body kit and spoiler u want to get for your civic if u decide to get 1 because there are a lot out there for u to choose from they should have a lot of magazines and books for u to look through to help u decide....but if u get a body kit and a spoiler u might as well get rims for the car to match the look and also u will have to get a paint job for the body kit and spoiler to match the rest of the cars paint....usually a body kit will cost u about 500 and a spoiler is about 200-350 also rims depend on what kind u get and what size they are....so ur best bet is to just look at the magazines at the shop and have them install it for u
