The reason Honda's are way over price is because unlike US auto makers they maintain there re-sale value. Ask for a Car Fax they should provide it for free unless they have something to hide(usually dealer have accounts at Car Fax that they are able to check the cars history). Does the car feel abuse and look like it. How is the clutch? The big dent might cost more then $300 upwards to a $1000 to fix. Now according to the black book(this is the car market price unlike blue book that over price cars) 2003 Si Extra clean $11750 Clean $11,100AVG $10,000Rough $8,400So you can get a better idea if you want if I wouldn't pay more then 10,000 with taxes and plates. Now performance:Si are always the highest in the Civic, CRX, Del Sol lines. Always come with the best motors and suspension all the options etc. This style hatch back aren't really like but the Honda guys and gals like the 99-00 Civic Si. But they hold there own. The resale value is good on this car new they where $16000. Speed isn't so good I race 2004SI Intake headers exhaust and I had a stock CDM CX(DX motor and tranny stock from CD) and I only lost by 1 car length which made the guy get scared and sold his car.
