Honda is a good pick. You're not exactly comparing apples with apples. Personally I am not attracted to the CRVs, would rather have the Rav4. I currently drive an '06 Civic. Car is beautiful - turned heads when I first got it. It felt good to hear people say "That's the new Civic?!"*If you like being higher off the ground, then go for the CRV. *I don't know how much gas it consumes but that's definetely another factor you should consider. It wouldn't hurt to test drive both cars and do a comparison.
