Honda Radio Problem?
I took the stock radio out of my 2000 Civic SI in order to put an aftermarket Jensen radio in. I bought the car used and the previous owner had an aftermarket radio in the car and took it out when the car was sold, so the wires had been cut and then crimped back together. I unhooked them all and tried the Jensen, which i couldnt get to work, so I took that out and decided I would buy a wire harness later, and then tried to put the old stock radio back in. I put all the wires together correctly, matching the colors with each other, and then tried to use the stereo. The thing wont come on, IT DOESNT ASK FOR THE CODE, it just wont come on at all. Please helpI would take it in, but I called Honda and they reffered me to a local dealership where I talked with someone in there servicing department who said it starts at 95 dollars and hour just to look at the damn thing. Id rather fix it myselfI did say that it wast getting any power right, meaning the code comment was pointless, sorry.I figured it out, it was a blown fuse.....
