Then when the mechanic drove your car the transmission died. What would have been better you driving out and have it fail on you? Your decision replace the trans and hope you can sell or give this car to your kids. You have already spent the down payment on that new car. Your old trusty honda actually is unsafe by todays standards. New Civic is roomier drives better has more power gets better gasmileage and mulit air bags in there to protect you.
