If you are replacing the axles or even the brake rotors on that car then YES you have to take off the spindle nut. You can attempt to use a breaker bar and place another bar between two of the wheel studs to prevent it from turning while you trying to get it off. The nut is 36 MM. Make sure that you completely unstake it from the notch in the axle. I dont even attempt to use a breaker bar on them, I simply use a 3/4 drive impact gun with a 36MM socket. On 90-97 accord the brake rotors are pressed into the wheel bearing and hub assembly. You can also try spraying it with some penetrating oil and let it sit for few minutes. You should also replace the the nut with a new one. If you are replacing the rotors, then this tool will help you http://www.try-intools.com/ they have a video and detailed instructions of how it is done.
