HiIf the engine revs pick up but the road speed doesn't increase then you have a slipping clutch.If it is simply a lack of power your car is suffering from then it is very highly likely a fuel issue, either way too much, or nowhere near enough.The fuelling issue could be due to a weak pump, faulty O2 sensor, faulty coolant sensor, air leak, faulty throttle sensor, faulty MAP or MAF sensors, faulty cam sensor, any number of things.If the engine management light is or has been on then have the codes read out and it will point you in the right direction.
