Default difference between the civic hx engine and civic ex engine?
Ok so i know that the hx engine is vtec-e (D16Y5) or vtec econmy and the ex(D16Y8) is just vtec. But aren't they the same engine, isn't it just that the hx has extra modifications to get better gas millage. Can i make my hx engien into an EX with replacing some parts? or am i just dumb.
