depends on the year of your civic. Needed: spring compressor -> rent one for like $50 at auto shop(kragen, pepboys). I did mine with friends who have done it before, but ran into some probs. take it to a shop if your not comfortable with your car knowledge/experience.DONT' HEAT SPRINGS AND CUT THEM.
