start by checking the timming belt yourself by opening the oil fill cap and looking inside while someone cranks the engine if you see the cams and the lifters/cam followers moving the the timming belt is not broken. there is the possiblity that it jumped timming and if it did you have to check the timing by removing the valve cover and seeing if the marks line up. if the belt is still good and the cams are moving check for spark by removing a sparkplug wire and putting a screwdriver in the end then lay the screwdriver down so that the metal is close (about a few mm) to a ground such as any metal part of the car if you have to hold it you should be ok the handle of the screwdriver is well insulated then have a friend crank the car and see if you have spark. if you dont then you should replace your ignition coil and ignitor(ignition modual). also check your oil and coolant to see if it has mixed if it has the oil will be like milk and that meas that you blew your head gasket. hope this helps some
