I don't think you have an immobilizer on that car. Honda didn't start using immobilizer until the late 90s and that was on the Accords first. call your honda dealer to see if you have immobilizer on your car. my guess is that your car is cranking but not starting. most common cause is the igniter in the distributor (distributor module or sub assembly), a flooded engine, a bad distributor cap/rotor or a timing belt if the distributor is not turning. If it does have an immobilizer there is no way around it other than to have it towed to a honda dealer for reprogramming.
