Not hard to maintain a Honda they are very reliable. Like the other people said change the oil and perform routine maintenance. The problem with Hondas is when something goes really wrong they are very expensive to repair at a professional shop. I suggest you have the vehicle checked out by a professional before you purchase it. That way you know you wont have to drop a tranny in or end up replacing a head gasket soon. Good Luck
