I have always owned Hondas. They are great cars because they're so extremely reliable. Make sure the one you buy has been well-maintained, and all you'll ever need to worry about is basic car maintenance. My first car was my mom's '91 Accord, which had 180,000-something miles on it when I got it. I put another 100,000 miles on it over the five years I owned it and never had a single problem with the car. All I ever had to do was keep up the scheduled maintenance. I only sold it because I wanted a pretty new Civic, not because there was anything wrong with it. I've had my Civic for 5 years and put about 85,000 miles on it, and have never had so much as a dead battery. Buy a Honda!
