Actually Michigan has 3 license plates, the one is the traditional blue plate with white lettering, one with the sun rising over the Mackinac Bridge, and the other one is a white plate kinda like the sunrise, except has an old model T Ford on it. I don't know what is up with this, probably someone in the prisons don't have nothing better to do so they just come up with different designs. As far as the new plates that are coming out in '07 I am unaware of, but when you renew your tags, they could send you one if you do so desire. You can do all this either by mail or the net.
